The key difference between a journal article and a thesis is that the former is based on specific topics, whereas the latter includes a deep study under expert supervision. It is generally a proposed form of writing. Before it is published, these articles go through a process of peer review. In the sciences, a Journal Article is sometimes called a Scientific Article, a Peer-Reviewed Article, or a Scholarly Research Article.Journal articles are most often Primary Research Articles.
